In Name of Misguided Love, Rebellious People Reject Spiritual Discernment
In an effort to undermine bible authority, author Calvan Sieczkowski used the HuffPost “Gay Voices” web pages to promote yet another logically-flawed homosexual anti-truth propaganda challenge to sound bible doctrine. Like so many typical statements wherein “gays” and other rebellious people use misguided love as a defense for blatant resistance to sound spiritual discernment, the content of the article ignores the very challenge that they present against right-minded Christian teachers.
For example: Would the same group that advocates tolerance, love and acceptance of self-proclaimed and practicing “gays” accept with love and tolerance any of the following situations:
- A self-acknowledged and practicing thief seeks to manage local financial institute wherein this loving soul stores their life savings?
- A self-acknowledged and practicing drug addict who wished to take over management of the local hospital drug storage lockers?
- A self-acknowledged and practicing child molester seeking position as head manager at the local child day care center wherein resides the children of this loving and tolerant speaker?
- An open-door policy to a self-proclaimed and practicing member of ISIS who desires to live in YOUR home?
We all practice discernment. Only a fool would fail to do so. As one once convicted and seemingly ever deemed guilty and unforgivable, I know to clearly the nature of rebellious people and the so-called “love” this nation practices. You tolerate only those agendas that fit into your limited vision of “acceptable” sin. You resist the capacity of God to bring individuals in to a state of full-redemption. In your claim that homosexuality is natural, you deny that anyone can overcome the sin nature. It this is your version of love it is no wonder that you have no sense of Spiritual Discernment.
A California pastor apparently thinks telling parents of gay children to “alienate” them and “turn them overt to Satan” is sound advice. John MacArthur of the Grace Community Church in the San Fernando Valley responded to a question from a listener on his “Grace to You” show who asked […]
Those Without Spiritual Discernment Often Err In Judgment
In the contents of the article, the author defines the words of John MacArthur of Grace Community Church out of San Fernando Valley as hypocritical. In defense of the argument, the author quotes Anabaptist author Benjamin Corey. The core of the claim says that MacArthur “targets sexual sinners while disregarding others, like the greedy, idolators and drunks.”
Anyone who follows the teachings of John MacArthur knows that this pastor practices full bible doctrine concerning any sin that takes place within the church. Mr. Corey and any others who would define truth as a “dumb anti-queer statement” should return to the roots of their own personal bias.
Yet rebellious people seldom acknowledge the nature of the rebellion. The queers declare that love must win, yet they remain completely intolerant and unloving toward those who resist this “new and false” definition of love. Spiritual discernment does not invalidate love, but it does advance common sense and sound bible doctrine in a way that embraces God first and man second.
Grace to You ministries is no more perfect than any other Christian leadership. However, it is a Holy Spirit lead ministry. Any God fearing church will reject self-proclaimed and practicing sinners in the manner clearly presented by John MacArthur, for it is defined by Holy Scripture. Failure to reject self-proclaimed sin within the body of the church is contrary to the good of the church.
Do you really believe that walking the true path of Christianity is easy? Do you think that God does not weep over our sinful lifestyles? Do you actually conceive that a wholly righteous God can accept anything less than complete righteousness? Look and see the sacrifice of Christ. For the sake of love, God gave heaven’s best to all who will believe. Will you, in the name of a misguided concept of love, spit upon that sacrifice?
In the words spoken by the prophet Ezekiel:
“When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand,” (Ezekiel 3:18).
This is love: That we be willing to risk the rejection of a rebellious people.
Argument presented by rm harrington from Spiritual Leadership With Christian Character. Once I was lost, now I am saved. Even though I have satisfied my debt to society, most still hold me condemned. And you say you know how to love…..
